Arts Centre Melbourne Reveals Grand Plan for Southbank

To celebrate its 30th birthday, the Arts Centre Melbourne has released its ambitious plan for a dramatic makeover of its St Kilda Rd and Southbank Blvd boundaries. It includes a hotel, restaurants and commercial outlets, a pedestrian boulevard, a new theatre, central ticketing office, plaza and gallery.

The proposed plan has been officially handed over to government which has so far committed $1 million to the “Melbourne Arts Precinct Blueprint”.
