ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps, the name given to the body of troops raised by the two countries to aid the British Empire in the First World War (1914–18). Throughout the war they would live, fight and die alongside each other, creating a bond that still exists today between the two nations.


Indian Film Festival of Melbourne

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), the southern hemisphere’s greatest annual celebration of Indian cinema, is coming to Melbourne in May.

From thrillers to comedies, arthouse to musicals, the festival will be screening an incredible selection of classic and contemporary cinema that spans the full breadth of India’s varied and dizzying output, celebrating its history and glimpsing its future.


Korea Festival

The first ever Korea Festival brings all the sights, sounds and tastes of Korea to Federation Square.

The all-day event showcases the many iconic features of traditional and contemporary Korean culture: the Busan Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra, a Hanbok (traditional Korean costume) fashion show, the Korea Festival K-pop Contest, a Taekwondo and Hapkido (Korean martial arts) demonstration, and many more exciting attractions
